i thought i would be good about this ..but apparently not.

tonight we had bible study! :) so fun...we had a great chat.
i get to go home for spring break on thursday ..soo excited. and soo exctied to go to the beach every freaking day.

OH friday night was so fun! it was our bible study date. they got us ben and jerry's, did speed dating, and took us roller skating. it was so fun! haha the speed dating was funny .. and it was a great way to meet some new people :)

besides that: all is well!

So my Tuesdays are absolutely stinky. I managed to pull a paper together for my 8:30 class this morning, but barely. Then we proceeded to watch a two hour movie on Joseph Smith and his Mormonism. It was interesting---but not at 8:30 in the morning in a pitch black room. Sleep was unavoidable for most in the class, but I managed to prevail through the sleepy atmosphere. Then I went to Intro to FYCS, and I tried my best to pay attention. We have a midterm one week from today (the 27th of February, the day of my birth for you unknowing viewers out there), so I better catch up and actually read.
Then, I almost fell asleep at work. Thank the Lord for IPods.
Tomorrow is our statistics exam. I do not know statistics. I had better start studying soon.

But, to the gym I am going at 4:30.

Welcome to University of Florida, Julie.

So, we won the national championship. Go Gators! What a great way to start off freshman year of college... :)

We're almost half way through second semester, and I have no idea where the time went. Somehow, I live on the same floor of the same building my sister lived in her freshman year here, and it sucks just as much today as it did back in the day for her. Stephanie Jones and myself are working on plans for our living situation next year. I think we're living with Miss Lauren Welkey, and then a mystery person as of right now. We're going to try for Beaty, but I don't want to live at the top, because I'm obviously not walking up 12 flights of stairs when the elevator breaks.

For those of you wondering, "Where did this come from, and why is Julie writing in her livejournal," look to Kristi Moler. She stumbled upon it, and reminded me of it. For those others who are new to my life: Warning-- this journal goes back to 2001, and I can't vouch for any maturity or intelligence on my part 6 years ago.

I haven't changed, and I'm currently procrastinating on homework. I'm going to bible study in a bit, if I find a ride? and why do I need a ride? OH, I don't have a car.

I'm determined to get something done before I leave, though, so to my Religion paper on "The Changing Roles of Women in the Church" since the colonial period I go.

Last night, the wonderful Courtney took me to see the nutcracker. Sascha Redetsky was the prince and he is the most amazing dancer. The woman who picked him up from the hospital, who we happened to bump into, told us where to find him after the show; so being the losers we are, we went and waited. he came out and let me just say, he is perfect. we waited in the line of people and we finally got up to him ...

S-"whats your name"
C- "i dont have one today, this is for my studio"
S- "oh? where is it? what is it called?"
C-" Festival of Dance, it's on the other side of town. feel free to stop by any time *winks*" *caresses his arm for the rest of the conversation*
S- "We can arrange that (holy crap he said he could arrange that!) "
C- "okay ...you can write your number right...there! "

C- "no, i'm serious. *giggles*"

i swear on my life if he comes to our studio i will die. he was so amazing, his leaps were magnificient and even in his freaking switch leaps he had perfect lines. ahhh. my conversation with him isn't quite as entertaining .. he just asked my name and i congratulated him and stupid small talk like that...but he was still so nice and i would love to just sit down and have dinner with that man because he is just interesting and has done so much in such a small period of time.

So, funny story. i'm gonna be a brace face for awhile ..but it's okay, because i'll have nice pretty white teeth in the end that will be perfectly straight. but right now i'm really really sore because i have 12 spacers in! :(

so, i think i'm going to die because i'm sooo exhausted. hopefully i can catch up on some sleep before i go to boston, which, mind you is in 13 days.

today we have a legislative meeting after school which means i have to dress up. boo to that. it's kinda chilly and i dont really want to get dressed. they're all freaking out on the news because there might be a frost! oh no! hahah.

so i'm going to finish my homework that i got up at 5am to finish. and then go to school.

Tomorrow i have a quiz is american, good thing i've done the study guide and all... except i haven't. oops. this week is going to be the most pointless week ever.

Well it has been quite awhile...

school is going pretty good... it's tough though. i saw the Incredibles the other day with jennifer! it was way cute! "You are elasticgirl!" heh!

Last night i got the urge to chop off my hair so i said goodbye to 7 inches of it. it's cute, i like it a lot. Then, i went to the mall at milenia .... $111.53 later, i left AE and went on my merry way. i got some cute stuff!!

but brown! but brick red!

so yay for julies' new clothes!! well, dinner time! more later!

so today i had to work on my homework all day. i didn't get as far in it as i would have liked, but i was too fed up with the difficulty of my English homework to really care.

i finally finished my english and now i'm watching one tree hill! and talking to the beautiful JENNIFER! :)

i talked to both of my jessicas, llayya, and evan today! i like talking to my friends! also i talked to daniel and danny farrell!

danny, i like our jokes!!! :) they make me chuckle! *heh* oh and thanks for the help on the homework!

so i went to student venture tonight with two very beautiful girls with the names of Tati and Micmich!! we got there and saw Michael and then went to goodwill, but all we found was this wicked cool cookie costume...but mike woudln't wear it. then we went back to the bowling ally, but i didnt' bowl. uhh .. a TON of people were there!i also got to see natalie and other cute freshmen! it was a very fun time! julia and kar stopped by for a bit and then a bunch of us went to a park in eastwood.... where we proceeded to get kicked out. then we chatted in the town center parking lot .. and then dan drove michie and i home. thanks for the chat mich and dan :)

tomorrow we are again, out of school. i have to finish that up in the morning so i can hopefully do something later! that's about all, goodnight all. take care!

okay so yay for colors!!! i like them a WHOLE LOT!

At school I got to watch Shrek in french!! but it's not as funny :(.. but i still had fun Then at the game i had to do the VIP thing with the lovely girls Raquel, Shallie, and Alyssa! It was a good time! Shallie is so much fun! I hope i get to know her better :)

Saturday I had to work from 12-6. But we closed at 6 becasue of the hurricane... anddd.. MICH MICH VISTED ME!!! i liked that a whole bunch! Not only did i get a visit from one of the best girls ever.... i did NOT fall at work!!! i was soo excited! i came home and played with the children next door for a little while and then did some homework stuff and watched the parent trap!

Today i chatted on the phone with the lovely JESSICA BURKE! i love my quirky burkey! hopefully she can come over tonight and we can have some quality bengay/ viagra time! (for those of you who dont know, jess is bengay and i am viagra ;) ) she's so great!! Then i took a bubble bath, but i was disapointed because the bubble bath that i used wasn't very bubbly. :( Well, i need to get some more homework done!

this week was quite long!! but an okay one!

i made pretty signs this week in sga! look for them .. .they say "BALLOONS" andi helped chitty and julia and alyssa with their homecoming one!

oo and me and chitty are doing where's wolfie! :) get excited!

michie was kind enough to let me use her jersey for tonight since i have gotten mine yet! thanks michmich!

i had a really good day... let's see ..
well kathleen laughed like spongebob in the middle of the pledge. that made me chuckle. then darby and kathleen did it all through SGA..it was quite entertaining.
michmich and jennifer made me laugh a few times!! :) i barely saw kar :( .. i miss jeje!! she's in CA!

i sold all of my spirit ribbons by 3rd period! that was VERY exciting!!!

i better see everyone at the game tonihgt..but now i'm off to dance!! and kristi, since we did not hang out today ..we are going to very soon. i mean it. :)

since ap us history is impossible, christa was nice enough to drop off the notes i was absent for..and we got chatting... finally, to emphasize the extent of my fatigue and sickness i say:
"Oh so i had the weirdest dream...i dreamed that mrs vetere handed out a paper and said 'homework is now due on the test day instead of everyday'"

and the reply i get:

"Julie, she did say that today."

yes, apparently i cannot differenciate between dream and reality.

i made $15 today. that was good.

weekend outlook:

Friday- dance and work 6-11
Saturday- District SGA meeting / BENGAYS BIRTHDAY! (but i can't stay the whole time :(
Sunday- work 1-6 and homework

oh but today my all time favorite was jennifer:

nana came home from the hospital yesterday! that's a big YAY! uhh .. last night i went out with the best girls ever Kara, Jeje, Michmich, and jennifer! :) and on our way home we stopped by and visited the one and only KRISTI! i love those girls. the boys happened to be over there so we said hello to them too. it was a fun night.

i have so much homework :(.

well, hurricane charly blew through. caused a lot of damage, not to us, but to a lot of people. so we don't have school until next tuesday. i have mixed emotions about that one; we're eventually going to have to make it up.

i have pink eye(s) again. lucky me.

i start school on monday!! :( and, i still have two books to read.

today hopefully bengay will accompany me to youth group and i can see all my camp friends. but i also told pfeif or may or whatever you call her now that i would go help her. so i have to do that too.

yesterday at school we had a teacher breakfast *at 630 am mind you.* and we gave out fish as "teacher's pets." they're chinease fighting fish so you can't put them together, but they're still really pretty. so, i kept one and brought one each to grant and kara. kara named hers pudge, grant's is sebastian and mine is franklin. i'm afraid he's gonna die though. but if he does, i'm gonna get a new fish tank, i real one, and get a bunch of fish. i'm excited!

OH! we were at dillards getting kara's homecoming dress... and mich and i were over in the prom dress area, and i found the most beautiful dress. so of course i bought it. BUT heres the best part. It was$180 marked down to, are you ready for this, $20 bucks. i love it.

So, a few of you have read my away message and know the jist of my story. But for the rest of you, this was my evening.

Work called me at 2:30 and where like "can you come in now instead of six?" and, i go. But, i didn't want to stay the whole time so i said 'can i leave at ten beccause if i don't i'll have to take another break" and they say "okay"

Around 9:53 a costumer makes me aware that it is huricaining out and that is the first thing that freaks me out. He finishes saying that and, of course, the lights in the movie theater and the parking lot go *whoooooooooosh down and WEEEEEEEESH up* . so of course there was huge lightning and thunder and i freak out and almost drop his drink. He and Austin proceed to make fun of me and i say 'i'm leaving." and i left. i go outside and the wind i howling so everyone underneath the pavilion is getting sprayed with water. i call my mom's cell and my dad answers "oh she should be there" and of course at the moment i see her. so i walk toward the car and she starts driving away. so i start CHASING and SPRINTING after her in the pouring rain and she of course, being the loving mother she is, doesn't see me and keeps driving. the only reason she stopped was b/c of a stop sign which she was about to roll through but i grabbed the door handle and got in before she drove away. now, there was, of course, a car behind my mother full of laughing people i'm sure. and the people under the pavilion got a good laugh too. me, i got a good laugh, but i also was sooooo wet and drenched to the core. But i swear, the people that saw me must have thought that i was a track star, but really, i was just scared of getting struck my lightning.

that's it kids. honestly, who does that? why didn't i just wait for her to pull around? we just dont know..

well, today i saw my smelly! i visited her while i was waiting for my dad to get his doctor appointment done. that was pretty much my day.

then i came home. and played 500 rummy with nana..who did, indeed, kick my ass at it.
